We started with renting a space at "Two Frogs On A Bike" in 1999
and were there for two and a half years! With lots of encouragement,
we decided to branch out and start our own business.
We rented a building in Urbanna, Va. to start "Through The Garden Gate".
While we loved the town of Urbanna, Hanover was our home.
We decided to purchase a piece of land in front of Hanover High School
and build "Through The Garden Gate". We opened in Nov. of 2005!
We were welcomed by locals and quickly started growing.
Then came "Through The Garden Gate Antiques"
which currently has over 60 dealers !!!!
We are Blessed to have a Great Friendly Staff and
Bunches of Faithful Customers !!!!!!!!!
